• Put yourself in this scene: use your imagination to see and hear Jesus’ intense physical suffering while those around deride and mock him. Use your heart to imagine Jesus’ feelings of physical and emotional suffering.
• When have you experienced physical and emotional suffering?
• Ask yourself:  Where in my world are others suffering physical and emotional pain?  How am I to be compassionate?
• Pray for our ministry partners, His Hands Medical Clinic, Kids First, Lutheran Services in Iowa, and all those who help those with physical and emotional suffering in our society.
