Youth & Family Ministry exists not only for the youth in your family, but also the adults!
Sure many of our faith formation opportunities are for youth, from Confirmation on Wednesday nights to High School Ministry on Sunday nights. But we also exist to bring families into faith formation, through conversation starters to book studies.

Welcome to our Youth & Family Ministry! We’re excited to invite you and your family to join us in a variety of events and activities designed to build faith, foster community, and create lasting memories. Whether it’s through service projects, fun outings, or meaningful worship experiences, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and grow together in faith. Our ministry is all about bringing families closer to each other and to God, and we can’t wait to have you be a part of our vibrant and welcoming community!
Winter Lock-In- 6th-8th Graders

Youth in Grades 6-8, don’t miss out on the ultimate winter evening of fun, games, and friends at our Winter Lock-In! Join us for a night full of exciting activities and a chance to kick off winter break together.
High School Winter Lock-In Volunteers
We're looking for High School volunteers for the Winter Lock-in, December 20 from 6:30-10:15pm!
You'll help lead games, organize activities and hangout with some of our middle school youth! Friends are welcome to join in the fun, but we will need a separate volunteer form and parent signature for them to help!
More details will be emailed the week of the lock-in so be sure to check your email!
Youth Summer Trip Survey
We are excited to explore the possibility of offering a summer trip experience for middle and high school youth at First Lutheran Church! Whether it’s a service-oriented mission trip, an adventure-filled excursion, or a faith-focused retreat, we hope to plan a meaningful experience that fosters faith, friendships, and personal growth.
To help us make the best choice for our youth and their families, we invite you to take a few moments to complete this survey. Your input will guide us in planning a trip that aligns with the needs, interests, and availability of our community. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for being part of this journey with us!

Wednesday Night Meal & ECHO Worship Volunteers
We invite the entire congregation to join us on Wednesday nights, not just for a meal and worship, but also as an opportunity to serve and grow together. By volunteering to help with the meal and participating in ECHO Worship, we can create a welcoming environment that nurtures the faith of all generations, especially our youth. This is a chance for us to come together, build relationships, and invest in the future of our church as we strive to grow young and vibrant in our shared mission. Youth & Family Ministries at First Lutheran Church
Our Middle School Ministry includes our Confirmation Ministry! 6-8 Grade you are encouraged to explore the questions of faith they may have. Our belief for the process of Confirmation is for the youth to DISCOVER their own understanding of who God is, what Jesus did and how the Spirit is working through them still!
