Ever feel like you are stuck in a dark hole? Author Steven Charleston, a Choctaw elder and Episcopal priest suggests that we see our dark holes as a kiva—a place that nurtures our growth. In Native American spirituality, a kiva is an underground chamber that one climbs up and out of by a ladder—a ladder to the light.
This spring we will reflect on this image of the climbing the kiva’s ladder, one rung at a time. The rungs will teach us about faith, blessing, hope, community, action, truth, renewal, and transformation as we climb from the darkness to the light.
Join us on this ladder as we share and reflect on the book, our lives, and our Christian faith.
The cost of the book is $18.
