Sept. 1 — Grief Circle: Finding Hope & Healing  -  Anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one is welcome to attend  First Lutheran’s Grief Circle group. In 5 sessions on Wednesdays, Sept. 7—Oct. 5  we will explore nine “essential touchstones” that will guide us into finding hope and healing as we journey with our grief.  Cost for materials is $10. Sept. 11 — Rally Day Discovery Fair  Get connected with a ministry celebration like none before! We will kick-off the fall on Sunday, Sept. 11 with abounding ministry opportunities, a food tent in the parking lot, outdoor games and more! Whether you are part of a small group, church work team, or an individual looking to grow in faith this Lent, we have you covered! Every week we will post materials you can access on your phone or computer to join in the theme each week. There will be a one-hour version for small groups, a five-minute devotion to start meetings for work teams and an individual devotion at your own speed. Each week will feature links to watch our Sunday sermon, read the weekend scriptures and ask guided questions of each other or yourself. Our new Spiritual Director Deborah Hansen will feature a different “Five Minutes with God” spiritual practice each week. You can find these at here.
