Connect & Grow with Other Men
Our men's ministry team, known as the "Guy Squad," meets every-other month to plan movie nights, fun trips, book studies, and service projects. We intentionally try to engage men in their 20's, 30's, and 40's who traditionally haven't had a strong interest in church and meet them on their level.
Grant Wood ARt family field trip
Show the kids some iconic works
Did you know the original of the very last painting Grant Wood ever painted, Spring in the Country, lives just a few blocks from our church? People of all ages are welcome to take a church field trip to the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 10th, with our own private tour starting at 6:30 p.m. You will see an amazing collection of the iconic Iowa artist's work spanning his life including world famous works "Young Corn" and "Spring in the Country," which is the artwork featured in our current worship series, Hungering for God. Tickets are normally $10 but are FREE for our tour. So we can tell our private tour guide how many are coming...
Dad karaoke
Embarrass Yourself in Front of the Kids
Kids, put on your fancy dinner clothes and grab your Dad because it's time to sing! Join us 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, April 25 for a night you'll always remember as our professional DJ helps you and your Dad sing along to all your favorite hits. Cost is $30 and includes a plated meal, sparkling grape juice, music, and fun.
CROP Bike RIDE
2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 18
Take your family on a short bike ride for ice cream a good cause! Our CROP Family Bike Ride to Dan & Debbie's is 2-5 p.m. Sunday, May 18. People of all ages will gather at Hoover Park and bike 3.6 miles downhill to Dan & Debbie's Creamery in Ely. Cost is $20 per family (including ice cream). Thanks to our H3GO Outreach Team for picking up our ice cream tab, 100% proceeds you raise will go directly to CROP walk to fight hunger in our community and around our world. Invite your friends and neighbors to come along!
Mini golf cookout
Celebrate the Start of Summer
Family Mini-Golf Cookout Bring the entire family for a little mini-golf, food, and fun at Twin Pines Golf Course at 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 1. Come celebrate the end of Sunday School & Wednesday ECHO and the start of summer. Cost is just $5 per person (normally $12) and includes a round of mini-golf, hot dog, chips and a drink.
BONUS: if your child invites a friend, their entire family is free! This is thanks to our H3GO Outreach Team to promote our children (and us) to do outreach in a way that's fun for them.

Learn to Lead from the Heart
Men's Night at Big Grove Men, grab a cold one with us and learn to lead in your family, in your business, and in your heart at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at the Big Grove Brewery in Cedar Rapids. We'll read and discuss Legendary Duke Men's Basketball Coach Mike Krzyzewski's new New York Times bestselling book, Leading with the Heart. Cost is $20 for the book. Open to all men over 21. Friends are welcome!
