Children and Family Ministry (CFM) is known for its meaningful and vibrant connections with children and their families. Together we walk alongside of one another as we grow in our faith throughout the many seasons of our lives.  CFM hosts classes, special celebrations, and weekly ministries for children birth through 4th grade.

The DiscoveryZone for kidz is now open!

Whether on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening, our Discovery Zone for Kidz is a friendly and welcoming environment where everyone can connect, grow, and belong. 

Wednesdays and Sundays share a message and theme so you can mix-and-match which day you come as it suits families' busy schedules!

Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights. 

  • 10:15 a.m. Sunday Morning Learning for All Ages

    Pre-K & Kindergarten faith formation, including music, takes place in a dedicated space just for our littles at 10:15 a.m. Sunday mornings. Please register for more information.


    Grades 1-4  Discovery Zone for Kidz Meets in Room 312

    Parents Corner in room 315 is a place to relax and create community, or you can take part in our

    Adult Discussion Groups follow our worship series and start in Room 306 before breaking into smaller groups.

    Our Youth-led, family-supported worship that gives our young members leadership opportunities.

Our Nursey is open Sundays & Wednesdays for children 6 months to four years old.

Help Kids Discover More in Faith

The Discovery Zone needs leaderz to assist us along the way! We LOVE to have people other than parents to help build and guide our kidz' faith formation. Our recent focus on Growing Young showed us that intergenerational support is crucial to a healthy church. Middle School and High Schoolers are always welcome just the same as empty-

nesters and grandparents!

Camp EWALU

Ministry Partner

Camp EWALU is a ministry partner with First Lutheran Church! We send campers during the summer to many of their programs and even have some young adults who are part of their summer staff! Click the picture to see what is available for your 1st-5th grader!
