Visitation Chaplain, Sheila Anderson

Sheila Anderson was installed as Visitation Chaplain for First Lutheran in 2022. In this role she visits members who are homebound or in care centers. She is honored and privileged with the opportunity to get to know members better and hear their life stories.

Sheila’s visits have been welcome and are meaningful to many of our members. Some members welcome monthly visits from Sheila, while others are comfortable with once every two to three months.

Rose Gordon is an integral part of this ministry as well; as she starts each week on Monday and Tuesday scheduling the visits. Rose also gets to know the members in these calls, and members remark to Sheila how warm and endearing Rose is to them. If you would like a visit from Sheila or one of the Pastors, please contact Rose Gordon in the church office on Mondays and Tuesdays.
