Service (Ministry) in the Church
As Christians we are all called to serve the body together as we worship the Lord Jesus. This can not only happen at an individual level but can be done together as a small group. Serving together makes for joy doubled and burdens halved. One way to get to know each other better in your small group is through an activity. Each opportunity has a contact person listed and a brief description. Why not have your small group prepare and serve an Alpha meal or help with the Alpha sprouts or work together serving coffee on a Sunday morning.

Winter Weather Cancellations
It is our practice to cancel Confirmation and children’s choirs if Cedar Rapids schools are closed or dismiss early due to weather. All other groups, events or services, will meet as scheduled. Use your best judgment. If you don't feel safe going out in inclement weather, stay home. We understand, and so does God. If there are additional cancellations, we will also post them at the top of our website, or you can call the church office to be updated.
