First Lutheran is a gathering place for people from across the region. Our welcome begins with the affirmation that each person is a child of God by grace. God’s love embraces the wide diversity of people in our community: diversity of race, class, ability, social background, sexuality, as well as diversity of personal and political viewpoint. We’re a people with a Christ centered heart, and our shared identity in Christ is bigger than whatever differences we might bring. There is a place for you!

Children's Ministry

Our vibrant children's
ministry starts with newborns and shepherds
students through grade 5 with regular programs and lots of special events!

Youth Ministry

Sixth through eighth grade students cover the essentials of Christian faith.
High School groups dig into what it looks like to live out their faith.

Adult Ministries

Faith is a life-long journey of discovery that we travel best together. Groups for Study, faith formation and serving keep us growing together.

Music Ministry

First Lutheran has a long tradition of sacred musical programs and support for many fine arts groups in the region.


Encounter God in Worship

Worship is open to all seeking to praise, learn about, and encounter God.
Our Saturday Evening Service is usually led by piano hymns and liturgy, while the Sunday morning service uses our magnificent Parson's Opus 50 mechanical tracker pipe organ.
At 11 a.m. the Celebration Band leads our music in a modern-style worship experience.
Holy Communion is generally served at each worship service.
